This home seamlessly combines a sleek contemporary extension with the charm of the existing traditional house, creating a comfortable and inviting living space.

The new flat-roof extension at the rear expands the kitchen and dining areas, offering a seamless connection to the beautiful garden. To integrate the new first-floor flat roof with the existing pitched roof, each truss was joined to a new steel beam, ensuring structural integrity. The ground level was carefully lowered to maximise ceiling height, enhancing the sense of openness in the new space. This was executed with precision, in collaboration with membrane specialists, to ensure exceptional quality and waterproofing.

A standout feature of this project is the bespoke chamfered wall detail, crafted with specific angled bricks to achieve a refined, seamless finish.
